Paiste is a Swiss company that manufactures cymbals, gongs, and metal percussion. Paiste is the third largest company that manufactures cymbals, gongs, and metal percussion. Paiste was founded in 1945 in Brunsbuttel, Germany, founded in Switzerland in 1957, and became a corporation in 1973. Paiste was found by Michail Toomas Paiste, and Michail M. Paiste. Paiste is the Estonian/Finnish word that means shine.
