Meinl is the leading manufacturer of cymbals, and different kinds of percussion instruments. Roland Meinl found Meinl in 1951. Meinl headquarters are in Gutenstetten, Germany. Meinl and Paiste are the two main cymbal manufactures in Europe. Current lines of cymbals that Meinl makes are Mb20, Byzance, M Series, Soundcaster (Custom, Fusion), Mb8, Mb10, Generation X, Classics, MCS, and HCS.
