When was the Mantis made?

Mantis opened on May 11, 1996 at Cedar Point.  Mantis was originally called Banshee when the ride first came out.  Mantis is a steel stand-up rollercoaster.  Mantis is 145 ft with a 137ft drop with a max speed of 60 mph, a max vertical of 52 degrees, 3,900 feet long, 4 inversions a 119 ft loop, a 103 ft diving loop, a 83 ft inclined loop, and a corckscrew.
