When did AC/DC form?

AC/DC is a rock band formed in 1973 by brothers Malcolm and Angus Young.  Angus and Malcolm Young recruited bassist Larry Van Kriedt, vocalist Dave Evans, and drummer Colin Burgess in 1973.  Colin Burgess was the first band member fired and several bassists and drummers passed through the band in the next year.  Dennis Laughlin the band first band manager occasionally replaced Dave Evans in vocals.  In 1974 Bon Scott replaced Dave Evans for vocals.  In 1980 Bon Scott died from acute alcohol poisoning.  AC/DC put Brian Johnson as the singer of AC/DC after Bon Scott's death.  Drummer B.J. Wilson was drafted after AC/DC's drummer Phil Rudd and AC/DC's rhythm guitarist Malcolm Young got into a fight.  Simon Right replaced Phil Rudd in the summer of 1983.  Simon Right left the band to go work on Dio's upcoming album Lock up the Wolves.  Simon Right was replaced by Chris Slade.  In 1994 Angus and Malcolm Young invited Phil Rudd to several jam sessions.  Soon Phil Rudd was rehired and took Chris Slade's place.
