First electric guitar ever made

Adolph Rickenbacker made the first modern electric guitar.  It was a semi-hollow guitar made with sound holes.  The first complete set-up of the guitar was in 1931.

    Good post. I learned something new because I thought the first electric guitar was invented by Les Paul. Paul was close, but not the first.
