When was the Ibanez S series started?

The Ibanez S series started in 1987.  The Ibanez S is a solid body guitar.  The Ibanez S has a bolt-on neck or a set in neck.  The Ibanez S has a mahogany body with polpar maple or a bubinga top.  The neck for the Ibanez S
can have a 3 piece or 5 piece Wizard 2 Maple with Bubinga.  The Ibanez S has a rosewood fretboard.  From 1987 - 2007 the Ibanez S has a 22 fret rosewood fretboard.  Since 2008 the Ibanez S has had a 24 fret rosewood fretboard.  The Ibanez S has had 3 different types of pickups a Lo-TRS Floyd Rose pickup from 1987 - 2003.  From 2003 - 2007 the Ibanez S had a Ibanez ZR locking tremolo.  Since 2008 the Ibanez S has had a Ibanez ZR-2 locking tremolo.  The Ibanez S has a H-H IBZ infinity pickups, or Ibanez AH pickups.
